Kat is founder and director of The Phoenix Choir, an umbrella of 4 choirs in Edinburgh which are celebrating their 10th anniversary in 2026. The choirs focus on soulful singing with passion and energy, with 3 community groups and one auditioned soul & gospel choir. They are also launching a Kids & Youth Choir, and all choirs will be joining forces to perform in The Usher Hall later this year.
Kat also performs regularly as front-woman to bands in the late-night funk scene & will be releasing an EP under her own name in April. Later this year she has a show in the Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival, as well as returning to perform at the Fringe.
