Jane’s work with singing groups and choirs sits at the intersection between music, health and activism. She co-leads Protest in Harmony, Edinburgh’s radical street choir, two singing for lung health groups (The Warblers) and Portobello Community Choir. She set up the Rebellious Singers in 2019 to bring singing to XR actions. As a keen gardener she has led singing at Apple Wassails in Edinburgh and Glasgow since 2011. She is currently working on a collection of 20 nature songs based on the ‘Lost Words’. Jane also teaches mindfulness to people with long-term conditions through Thistle Wellbeing Service.
