
Debra is a singer/songwriter and song leader whose career also includes sound design/composition for theatre, vocal arrangements, teaching, and the artistic direction and production of creative arts projects.
Her work with vocal groups includes: singing for long-term health conditions through Tayside Healthcare Arts Trust; Vocal/Jazz Choir Tutor at Richard Michael’s Jazz Summer School; arranging/conducting Southern Fried Voices; Menopause Festival vocal workshops; MD for Hallelujah Clown Choir; former MD for Scottish Police and Community Choir; and MD of Craigie Community Choir which she started in 2004.
As a performer/songwriter, Debra’s musical style draws from the worlds of jazz and folk and embraces ‘anything else that works’.
