She leads their work on Access and Inclusion, exploring the practicalities with groups in resources and events. Alison has worked in the field of community and participatory arts for 25 years, starting as a drama leader across the Highlands, and ending up in Wester Hailes as the director of WHALE Arts. She studied theatre not music at University, but she learned to play the fiddle and sing at school and in the vibrant Scottish traditional music scene and loves to play for ceilidh dancing.
