
Shona Brown is song-leader, flute player and cross-genre musician originally from Motherwell and now based in Glasgow. She founded SoundRoutes in 2009 – a family of fun and inspirational community choirs across Glasgow and Lanarkshire. Through SoundRoutes she has also run many community singing projects including a carers choir, a dementia choir and a fundraising recording project with Addiewell Prison choir. As a flute player she has worked with many artists and organisations including Mogwai and the National Theatre of Scotland. Shona also performs her own material as a solo artist and has made live appearances on BBC Radio Scotland and STV Glasgow.
