
Wendy Weatherby is a singer, cellist and composer.
Since graduating from the then RSAMD in 1983, she has sung and played with both folk and jazz bands throughout Europe and the USA. Wendy has hosted singing workshops all over Scotland. As well as having her own solo albums, she is a featured singer on Linn Records ‘ The Complete Songs of Robert Burns.’
Wendy currently teaches Scots song and cello at the National Centre for Excellence in Traditional Music in Plockton, performs with The Wendy Weatherby Band and is musical director of The Vintage Chorus, an informal choir based in Edinburgh.
