Creating Words for Music Course • Scotland Sings

A fantastic opportunity for those of you who want to start or develop your music writing for singing groups and choirs by starting with the words. This participative course includes structured tuition, guidance and short writing tasks to inspire the creation of new text / lyrics to get you started.

Led by renowned singing leader and songwriter Ali Burns and creative writing specialist Jessica Boatright. Each session will build on previous exercises and therefore participants should attend all 4 dates.

We have space for 23 people on this course. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Scotland Sings network members will get priority booking until the end of June, then places will open to other song leaders in the UK. If you are not based in Scotland, we will ask you to pay £40 to attend.
